Taking Action

Trusting in God and turning my life over to him has been something I have struggled with. In fact, as I have previously written I haven’t fully understood what this means. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” I’ve stated this countless times and haven’t really thought about what it means... Bandera TX 50K Race

Our son came to visit for the holidays and we headed south to the Texas Hill Country to watch him compete in one of the Tejas Trail’s ultra-race events, this one held at a new venue called “Camp Eagle” in far southwest Texas near the Mexico border. While not to the level of some of... Continue Reading →

A Hidden Trail in the Ozarks

An excellent stop along the way is at the Walter Pesman Alpine Garden, where you can... Continue Reading →

I have been around competitive running for quite a few years as we have watched his progress through high school/college track and cross country and now into "Ultra" endurance... Continue Reading →

This is just a short post as we are about to drive south to watch Erik compete in the Bandera 100K Trail Race. Once we return I'll make sure and post a comprehensive story about the trip and the experience of a trail ultra race. Should be interesting.
